![]() To emphasize the difference, I cranked up the saturation for both images and saved them as the attached JPEGS. While tweaking them in Adobe Camera RAW I noticed the auto piloted image had significant low res type artifacts in the out of focus background, whilst the image I adjusted myself did not. These two photos were both uploaded straight to Photo AI as RAW files without edits and then exported as DNG's 2x resolution. Reason 2, is an especially concerning one because if you have a look at my attached images you can see the extent of the difference between the Auto Pilot adjusted image and my manually adjusted image in Topaz Photo AI. That's pretty cool and all, but as far as I can see, there is no option to batch apply specific settings to all images (as there was in Denoise, Sharpen and Gigapixel by hitting 'select all' and tweaking a few things).ġ: Sometimes there are specific use cases where you only want to apply specific changes to a giant collection of imagesĢ: The autopilot isn't at that point where we can rely on it to deliver the best results. One of the key tenants of this new app is an auto pilot feature, that automatically detects the best settings for each image, applies them and saves them in one click. Hey hey, just got a copy of the new photo AI program that aims to shorten the entire editing workflow by combining Denoise, Sharpen and Gigapixel into one new automatic app. But until I can take that basic manual edit and apply to 50 or 100 photos… woof. That way you can get to your manual edits much faster. Note: if you haven’t gone to preferences yet you can speed up initial import by turning off auto auto pilot functions. It works GREAT! Now please let me APPLY-ALL and be done! Here’s hoping there’s a workaround or update to allow this. Right now a mere +5 on Denoise and 25 on Sharpen is NICE all-in-one basic edit for high-ISO sports images. (Shadowed folds of jerseys or areas of dark trees in background all end up partially applied resulting in an uneven mess.) Manual works great so please let us apply it that way! All auto functions now eliminate too much noise or leave areas splotchy as it tries to figure out where to apply Denoise. I don’t want nighttime football images to be so smooth that it eliminates the seams in the jersey and the ventilation holes I can still see it ISO 8000. But please don’t force us to use it until it’s ready for prime time - maybe with a amount-slider so we can at least dial it back. Takes too long and over-edits most things. The latest updates improve basic manual functions tremendously but Autopilot is not ready for any serious editing. A select-all or apply-to-all function is needed. Someone please provide some intel on missing batch processing options for Photo AI.
